Founded in 2019 by Ecuadorian chef Alejandra Espinoza, SOMOS Hospitality Group was born with the vision of elevating Ecuadorian gastronomy to a global level. With a passion for excellence and innovation, the group has developed culinary concepts that redefine the country’s gastronomic identity, creating experiences that combine tradition and innovation.

Our ambition is not to appear on rankings, but to transform the way the world sees Ecuador through its cuisine. With offerings that balance technique, innovation, and tradition, the group continues to grow with openings like COTOA in Miami—included in the Michelin Guide—and recognitions like SOMOS Restaurant being included in the 50 Best Discovery.
